How do you train your new developers? [on hold]

I'm an experienced PHP developer and currently working as a team lead in a development team.
There will be a new junior developers coming in (knows basic PHP but still inexperienced). I may probably just tell them to go research in the internet or watch tutorials from youtube but I wanted to be hands-on and train them properly. I may be an experience developer but I wasn't that good in teaching others.
Just wanted to ask some advice or tips on how to properly train new developers (particularly in my case, PHP)

This seems more like an opinion poll than an answerable question.
